Minor hockey always needs great coaches.
This season SPRMHA is introducing a new initiative to help foster our next generation of coaches with the Grassroots Hockey Program.

This program will open for all SPRMHA registered 2nd and 3rd year U18 male and female hockey players who would like to apply.

Players who are accepted into the grassroots program will be paired with one of our fantastic SPRMHA coaches in the U7, U9, U11, and U13 teams offered through the SPRMHA.

Grassroots Coaches will learn from some great mentors over the season and learn skills that they will be able to utilize later if they want to coach minor sports but also learn valuable life skills and get some great volunteer experience to put on their resume.

One added bonus SPRMHA is offering for Grassroots Coaches who can attend a minimum of 60% of the team's practices will be credited back 50% of their SPRMHA registration at the end of the season.
