SPRMHA NEEDS YOU!

A Call for Coaches!

 

Hey you! Yes, I am talking to you. The person who is on the fence about coaching. You don’t have to be a parent. Maybe you are a former player looking to get back into the game. We need you to step up and let us know you are interested.

 

Every year we struggle and scramble to get coaches at certain levels of hockey in our association. Turk Gallant is still looking for an NHL Gig so let’s not hold our breath that he is going to throw his name in!

 

We all know why.

 

• “My child is trying out for AAA, and they have a good chance of making it, so I don’t want to put my name in for the AA team.”

 

• “I have multiple kids on multiple teams.”

 

• “No time”

 

• “No Experience”

 

• “Someone else will do it.”

 

I can assure you it won’t affect your child’s tryout process. We just want to know if you are interested in possibly coaching. If everyone thinks someone else is going to do it, then nobody does it! Minor hockey relies on its volunteers. We need you!

 

So, we are doing something different this year in SPRMHA. All we are asking for from you is to give us an expression of interest in coaching some teams. U18A U15 AA, U15 A U13 AA, U13 A, U11 A, U11 B, U9 A, U7

 

Fill out this Google form for us. That’s it. Simple.

 

 

We just want to compile a list so that we can move quickly and not have to scramble for coaches as teams are made.

 

It’s time to get out of the stands and volunteer.
