U11 AA Falcons Giving Back to the Community

This team recognizes how lucky they were to play hockey during the pandemic but most importantly that they were healthy enough to play the sport they love. They feel proud that this bench may be used by a family, teammates, classmates and friends who may at some time need to be admitted to the Pediatric Unit. With the addition of this bench, it will allow those in the hospital to sit outside and rest from playing and/or sit and enjoy the sunshine/fresh air. Being able to get outside is so important for recovery and the team is happy to be able to further provide this to patients and families. 

We are once again very proud of our young Falcons for another community contribution and for developing essential life lessons off of the ice. (Also pictured with the Falcons is Shira Zipursky- Child Life Specialist at the QEH)
