Chief Public Health Measure Reminder

2021-03-18

RE: Chief Public Health Measure Reminder

The Hockey Community has done a fantastic job in communicating and reminding members to follow the guidelines of the Chief Public Health Office: wearing a mask, washing hands, stay home if you feel unwell, gathering limits, physical distancing, etc.

The Chief Public Health Office has asked us to reach out to our membership to reiterate the need for everyone to be mindful of the gathering restrictions in place, and to please follow them.

As the season draws to a conclusion, there may be some situations where teams are considering booking accommodations at a location of a game or year-end Provincial Weekends. It is still imperative that you follow CPHO guidance. We ask that you avoid large group bookings. Where not possible, or where teams have already booked hotels together, team officials and parents must ensure that personal gatherings outside of a game venue follow the personal gathering limits of households and 10 consistent individuals. Any organized gatherings are required to follow the organized gathering guidance and an operational plan is required.
