U11 AA Falcons donate to the Stars for Life Foundation of PEI.
2021-01-29We would like to acknowledge the players and families of our U11 AA team for their community involvement during a challenging COVID season. The team sold Christmas Cards and recently made a generous donation of $1430 to the Stars for Life Foundation of PEI. The Foundation was established in 2002 as a result of a lack of appropriate services for children with autism spectrum disorder. The Foundation is committed to creating a quality of life for young people with autism spectrum disorder, ensuring that these individuals are fully supported and included in their community. Donations are used to support the many programs offered to their clients. “It takes a village to raise a child, but for a child with autism, it also takes a village to sustain them”
We are proud of our young Falcons for contributing to this important organization and for developing essential life lessons off of the ice - together as friends and teammates.
