CENTRAL ATTACK "AAA" COACHES NAMED

Midget AAA

The Midget AAA Central Attack is pleased to announce that Morgan Rice, Josh Beaton, and John MacDougall have been named coaches for the 2019-2020 season.

This group is coming off two highly successful seasons with the Bantam AA Central Attack. Last year, the Bantam AA Attack won the Provincial Championship, in addition to four other tournament wins. In the 2017-2018 season, these coaches helped their team to three tournament wins.

The coaches hope that they can continue their streak of success with the Midget AAA Central Attack throughout the 2019-2020 season.

Bantam AAA

The Major Bantam AAA Central Attack will be coached again this year by Jeff Squires, KJ White, and Chris Hedefine.

This group helped last year's Bantam AAA team to three prestigious tournament titles: the Monctonian, the Spud Tournament, and the PEI Provincial Championship. Additionally, the 2018-2019 Attack competed in the 2019 Bantam AAA Atlantic Championship, finishing as runner-up.

The Bantam AAA Central Attack will be gunning for a repeat appearance at the Atlantic Championship this year.

Peewee AAA

The inaugural Peewee AAA Central Attack team will be coached by Ryan Ramsay, Jonathan Arsenault, and Ryne MacIsaac.

Well-known in the Charlottetown and Sherwood areas, Ramsay coached the Midget AAA Charlottetown Abbies from 2011-2014, coached on the 2015 PEI Canada Games male hockey team, coached the Major Midget Charlottetown Islanders, and most recently led the Midget AAA Mid-Isle Matrix.

Arsenault was a standout player through his time in the Charlottetown Minor Hockey Association, before playing Major Midget, and then four seasons of Junior B. He coached with North River's Bantam AA team in the 2017-2018 season, helping them win the Provincial Championship.

MacIsaac coached with the Peewee AAA Charlottetown Abbies in 2017, helping lead the team to a Provincial Championship.

The possibilities are endless for this new Peewee AAA team with these three at the helm. Ramsay has said, “Our group is very excited to lead the inaugural Central Attack Pee Wee AAA Team for the upcoming 2019-2020 season. As a staff we will be focused on the development of our individual players and bringing the group together to ultimately compete for a provincial championship. We can't wait to get started!”
